Having had dogs in our lives ranging from Schnauzers, Spaniels, Labs, Retrievers, Vizslas, Pointer crosses to English Mastiff, we appreciate the importance of having a healthy balance in a dog’s routine. We aim to achieve this through the right combination of exercise, nutrition, affection/attention/mental stimulation and rest.
With our love for dog-walking, caring for dogs combined with sensible feeding routines and with the assistance of our resident dog, we aim to provide a warm and friendly environment in a family setting for all our guest dogs. our household consists of husband and wife team togehter with two very sporty (nearly) 16yr old sons. Our aim is never to leave any guest dog on its own and with our combined efforts we have achieve a 100% coverage so far this year. All dogs sleep on the ground floor of our 5 bed room house and there is ample space for the dogs to find a space for themselves anywhere on the ground floor.
Our goal is to give your dog the experience which is most appropriate for his/her specific situation but most of all, to ensure a kind and loving family environment during his/her stay with us. We will discuss your dog’s needs and agree what combination of exercise, play, socialisation, nutrition and rest your dog requires.
We currently have a super friendly, playful, laid-back flat-coated retriever at home. If required, our large garden can be sectioned of into smaller parts and we have a basket full of toys for (indoor) play as well. We live near open fields without livestock and dog friendly parks, which we have access to and will use in accordance with the needs of your dog. Whether it is 20 minutes of supervised play in the fully fenced garden or 2 hours of brisk walking in the countryside, we will always make sure your dog gets the exercise (s)he needs.
We would describe ourselves as cautious dog handlers who would never take any risks with the well-being of any dog. Our aim is always to be around and never leave a dog unsupervised. We will send you regular updates with pictures, videos and comments to keep you informed what your dog(s) have been up and we have a car available for trips future afield or emergency situations. For added peace of mind, we have successfully completed a CPD accredited Dog First Aid Course and have access to a 24/7 veterinarian clinic if required.
We are one of the few Home Dog Boarding Facilities in the area with a valid Dog Home Boarding License (License No: 18/02282/ANIMAL) and we also have Dog Boarding Insurance in place. If your host doesn't state they are licensed, then the chance are that they are operating unlicensed/illegally. Always make sure your host is legal/licensed!

Sarah & Michael were perfect dog sitters who looked after milo like he was their own. He enjoyed playing in their big garden & taking long walks in woods & fields straight from their back gate. We were very reassured getting daily photos, videos & updates. We would definitely recommend them especially for larger breeds. A home from home!
