Hello, I'm Karen
I've always been an animal lover. During my childhood we had cats, dogs and were able to spend time with horses as well. Over the last 30+ years I have owned and loved German Shepherds and in 2018 adopted Phoebe who is a Shepherd/Husky cross.
As a young adult I would look after my friends dogs cats and homes, including Jedd the Rhodesian Ridgeback, Sam and Clarence, Heinz 57 dogs and since 2016 when I set up my own business I have looked after Bentley, Jerry-Lee & Hiro, Parker and Bailey to name a few, while their owners have been on holiday. I really enjoy spending time walking out with ours and your dogs, getting to spend cuddle time at home with them and playing games in the garden.
I also walk lots of different breeds of dogs during the week in groups.
Initially I like to come and visit your home if it's for walking or if it's for a home stay at mine for you to visit my home and be introduced to your special girl/s and/or boy/s and preferably walk out or play in my garden with you all to get to know you and your dog (this consultation is free of charge.)
Fully Insured with Public Liability of £5,000,000 Loss of Key Cover with Pet Business Insurance. DBS (CRB) Checked and Passed. I have completed a Canine First Aid Course + Canine Body Language Course both with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers IMDT

Karen was the perfect choice for boarding our golden retriever for a week. I was extremely nervous, as I'd never left our dog with someone before, but it went great.
A few things that Karen did that I really appreciated:
- Karen made an effort to get to know Luna before the booking, and ensure she would be comfortable staying with her
- Karen was patient with me and patiently listened to all my worries and asks for caring for the dog
- We received daily photos/videos that let us know our dog was having her own holiday
We've book Karen again for another boarding session, and can't recommend her enough.
