Who Let The Dogs Out?! is a One-der Woman Team, with three trusty sidekicks! (my boyfriend, little sister and my cockapoo, Louie, who may sometimes accompany me on walks simply because they love dogs ALMOST as much as myself!)
My name is Lily and I am 25 years of age, with a liftetime of experience caring for animals. Having always grown up in the countryside, living out in the sticks, I love being surrounded by nature! I have lived on a number of working farms, from a cow farm to an apple farm, and now a farm with a naaaay-bouring stable yard filled with happy horses, a five minute drive out of Beaconsfield!
I have been dog-walking before I could even walk, with dogs always having been a part of the family home. Having grown up with two labs; Memphis & Belle, then my first gorgeous cockapoo; Monty and now my current cockapoo puppy; Louie, it's safe to say I know how much they play an integral part in the family dynamic. Their potential for compassion and sensitivity never fails to surprise me, and their ability to create a connection with their human family is a gift to those that are lucky enough to have a doggy in their lives. That's why it is so important to me that I provide the best service there is, always putting your dogs wellbeing first!
It's great to be doing something I love, with animals I love, who never cease to bring a smile to my face. AND I'm getting paid to do it!
My Services incude Dog Walking, Home Visits and Overnight Home Visits (For Beaconsfield, Amersham, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Bernham and Taplow, if you live out but within the vacinity of these areas, then always feel free to check with me)
Before using any of my services, I offer an initial meet and greet (30mins), free of charge, to get to know your pooch, their likes, dislikes, any behavioural traits, preferred walking environments etc. And it's obviously a great opportunity for you to get to know me before commiting to a service and entrusting me with your lovely dog!
For all of the services I offer, I always aim to make them as personal and tailored to your doggy's needs as possible. I also like to keep owners updated with videos or pictures of their adventures whether thats on their walk or while their family is away, to reassure their family that they are being well-looked after and almost definitely spoilt with fun!
Dog Walking
My favourite places to walk include Downley Common, Hughenden Valley & Burnham Beeches. But either way, I am always happy to adapt and walk at the places that are more suited to your dogs needs and more distance appropriate from their home. Hughenden, for example is a beautiful place to walk dogs if they enjoy socialising with fellow dogs. However, it can be overwhelming for some dogs who have perhaps had a bad experience, or are overly-territorial.
The maximum amount of dogs I am happy to walk is three, I may be one-der woman but four can be a handful. Each walk can be a minimum of 30 mins, but are usually between 30 mins to an hour (its up to you regarding time preference) . Depending on breed and size, this adjusts accordingly. If you feel an hour is not enough for your pooch I am able to offer a 1.5hrs - 2hrs dog walk with an agreed price.
Home Visits
If you have a busy work life commuting to and from work, I offer a Home Visit Service where I will pop in to see your pooch for at least half an hour to play with them, let them out for their toiletries, top up their water or feed them if requested. Two home visits a day are also a possibilty if necessary.
Overnight Home Sitting
Overnight Home Sitting is a great solution for those with dogs who are a little sensitive about kennels and like the creature comforts of being in their own home. When home sitting, I aim to provide as much love, care and attention as possible, making sure your dog is fed and watered sufficiently and most importantly has fun! (If they are a social dog and I have dog walking booked for the days of looking after them, I will take them on the walk free of charge. However, if you would like your dog to be walked separately due to various reasons or if I do not have another walk scheduled in ,there will be a small fee of £5 for a dog walk ontop of the Overnight Home Sitting Fee)
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I am always happy to discuss alternatives that help meet your specific needs.
I look forward to hearing from you and your pooch!
