My name is Freya and I absolutely love animals. From a very young age, my household has always had pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits and guinea pigs. I have lots of experience, especially with dogs and dog walking, as we have a Labrador called Bailey.

The reason I have decided to apply to be a pet sitter is because alongside my placement, I would love to spend my free time looking after animals and helping out other pet owners. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and it fits perfectly around my current routine.

Now that I am living back at home in Burnley, I have a comfortable and familiar environment to look after pets in, with access to outdoor space and plenty of great walking routes nearby. I am active and enjoy being outside, so I would make sure dogs get lots of exercise and attention.

I really value the companionship animals bring, and I would treat any pet in my care as if they were my own. I am reliable, caring, and happy to accommodate different needs and routines.

I would not be fussy with which animals I look after – everyone is welcome, however since I have Bailey at home, cats would not be able to stay with me🐾
