About Katie
Hello, my name is Katie. I live in the centre of Cambridge with my 16-year-old cat. From a young age, I have lived with big, small, domestic and wild animals. From this, I have learnt a great deal about how to interact with them. I find animals fascinating and am always eager to learn more about them. I have experience working on a farm (with farm animals), volunteering at a dog shelter and volunteering/working at a wildlife rehabilitation centre. I am currently studying dog training and animal behaviour. And would love to help out.
Because I am a pet owner, I completely understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets at home. I am passionate about giving the animals and owners a good and worry-less experience. I am willing to care for all animals and have had experience with many species, including ferrets, snakes, horses, donkeys, cats, dogs, a large variety of birds and rodents, etc.
What I offer-
Dog walking- I'll walk your dog for half an hour to an hour, but we can discuss this to suit you and your dog's needs. I can also give extra help, such as feeding your dog.
House visits- Are about half an hour where I'll feed them, play with them or simply keep them company. I can also clean the litter box, water the plants, etc.
I also offer basic dog training if wanted.
I understand that all animals have different personalities and might need different approaches to caring for them. Please let me know if your pets have any fears and/or medical conditions, so I know what to look out for and give the best care I can.

Katie is definitely a cat whisperer.
It was the first time I travelled and left my cats alone. So I was immensely nervous. Katie sent me photos and videos when she was here and they were always happy and playing with her. Even my youngest cat who is extremmely shy and hides from everyone who isn't my husband or me. I've asked if she was wearing a catnip suit, because that was unbelievable. My cats didn't loose or gain weight which means she also respected the amount of food and treats I've asked to give to them, and they were happy and relaxed when we arrived.
She is the best cat sitter we ever had and definitelly will be their sitter from now on.

Katie is a stellar cat sitter.
She showered our kitten with love and play sessions as needed, kept an eye on a couple of house issues and was very communicative with great updates/pictures/videos. I wouldn't think twice about calling her again next time I'll need a sitter!
