I want to be a pet sitter because, as a part-time mental health nurse, I have free hours that I’d love to spend with animals. I can’t have a dog of my own right now due to work, but being around pets genuinely lifts my spirits. I grew up with all kinds of dogs from Alsatians to Beagles to sweet little Pugs and Frenchies, and they’ve always brought so much comfort and joy into my life. Pet sitting lets me share that same love and care with other people’s pets while enjoying the companionship I miss!

I live next to Bute Park with my partner, which makes it really easy to take dogs out for lovely walks. At home, we also have a small garden, there’s no grass, but there’s plenty of space for a little run around.

We don’t have a car, so your pet would need to be dropped off and picked up from our home. I always prioritise safety, keeping to secure leads, watching body language, and following any routines or rules you already have in place. I’m gentle, patient, and used to caring for others through my work as a mental health nurse, so I’m calm and confident with pets who may be nervous or need a little extra reassurance.

I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual feeding times, toileting schedule, and any special needs they might have. And when it comes to walks, I’m out there rain or shine (as long as your pet doesn’t mind the weather!). Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and wellbeing will always come first
