Hi, my name is Wendy.

I love animals and have lots of experience in caring for a large variety of pets. We have three cats of our own (a Siamese, a Donskoy Sphynx, and mixed breed rescue), two permanent foster cats, one dog, two guinea pigs, two tortoises, two White's tree frogs, and a tropical aquarium.

I am a volunteer cat fosterer for a local cat rescue and have done this for over 3 years. While doing so I've gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. I have even forstered a diabetic cat, a couple of FIV+ cats, and a deaf cat. I find it very rewarding to look after these beautiful cats while they wait for their forever homes, and then watch them go on to be happy, loved and settled in their new homes. 

As a teenager I would spend my Saturdays helping out at Stonebridge City Farm, in Sneinton, Nottingham. And I've owned a large variety of pets including, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, Syrian hamsters, Russian hamsters, fancy mice, terrapins, canaries, budgerigars, an African grey and a green Amazon parrot, chickens, stick insects, a large variety of fish, and even had a pet goat.

I'm happy to take care of any type of animal, and can feed pond fish, and garden wildlife if this is required. If required I can fetch post, put your dustbins out and back again, water house plants/garden plants/greenhouse, open and close curtains/blinds, and if you require me to, I can leave a radio on during the day (to sooth your pets, or for added home security)

🐕 Dog walks will be 30 mins (or 1 hour for an additional charge) and will take place in a local park/green space or road walk, whichever you and your dog/s prefer. Max 1 large dog or 2 small/medium dogs per walk/per booking. Second dogs are £7 per 30 mins. Dogs will be kept on leads at all times, unless the client specifically requests some off-lead time. This could be discussed after your dog and I have completed a few walks together, we have become more accustomed with one another, and I can ensure your dogs safety and recall. 

🏠 Home visits will be approximately 15 - 20 minutes each visit. Extended visits of 30 mins, 45 min, and 1 hour are available on request at an additional charge. 

📸 Updates and photos of your pet/s after every home visit or dog walk. 

🏥 All dogs and cats must have upto date vaccinations, and upto date flea and worming treatment.  

🚗 Home visits and dog walks outside of my 3 mile catchment area will incur an additional travel charge based on mileage.

🏡 House sitting is only available on Fridays and Saturdays. I can stay overnight with your pet/pets from 7 pm until around 8 am the next morning. An additional midday standard home visit/dog walk can also be arrange at a smal additional cost. 

👋 A free meet and greet will be required in your home with your pet/s present before a clients first booking, when we can discuss your requirements in more detail. 

🔑 Keys must be dropped off and collected by the client (unless given at the time of the first meet and greet).
