Pet care experience
My partner Kevin and I have looked after a variety of animals including our family's Chihuahua and 18-year-old cat. We began dog-sitting when we moved to Chafford Hundred in 2024, and took care of over 45 dogs in our first year (this number is now closer to 90)! We love all types of dogs and look forward to welcoming your furry friend to our home.
We offer a home away from home for dogs of all sizes, from puppies to seniors, and have experience with different medical conditions and behavioural issues. We do our best to accommodate every dog's needs and treat each one of them as if they were our own. Above all, we are sitters who genuinely love the animals that we care for and will do everything that we can to make them feel comfortable and give them a holiday experience! You can expect regular updates with photos and videos throughout their stay :)
A note to all our lovely owners: As of August 2025, we are planning to adopt a pair of female Pomskies from a shelter. They have been fostered with 12 other dogs, and we believe they will fit in well with our plans to continue dog-sitting! Please note that we can no longer take in dogs that need to be boarded on their own (unless you are happy for us to separate them or look after them in the comfort of your home). Thank you for your understanding!
Safety, trust and environment
We live in a detached 3 bedroom house with a large, bright, and sunny fenced garden in a beautiful green area in Chafford Hundred. We have no children and our Pomskies are used to having guest doggies around. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, and if we are boarding dogs from different families, each will have their own room to sleep in.
We are lucky enough to be right next to Chafford Gorges Nature Reserve where we walk the dogs in our care regularly. We love exploring the area and visiting our very many local parks and surrounding dog-friendly spaces, including a wide-open field only a short walk away. We are also a 5 minute walk from our local Medivet for peace of mind.
We have everything from warm bedding to air conditioning for the dogs in our care. We provide machine-washable puppy pads and have a large supply of treats and poo bags too. We keep a spare lead and tags with our details on while your dog is staying with us for extra security, and we provide the essentials (including toys for different sized dogs, water bowls, travel bottles, grooming supplies and our own doggy first aid kit). Your dog will be kept secure with a safety gate at the front door and will always be supervised by both us and our pet cameras. We have thought about as many things as possible to ensure that your dog is given top-quality care.
Availability
We are available every day for doggy daycare and long-stay dog boarding (unless we are fully booked)! We provide 24/7 supervision and when we do go out, we usually take the doggies with us! We also offer house-sitting, dog walking and drop-in visits to owners' homes when we can and if you are not too far from us. Please check our calendar to see our upcoming availability and feel free to send us any requests that you might have :)
Information we would like to know about your pet
When booking with us, we would first love to do a meet & greet to get to know your dog! Meet & greets for daycare & boarding take place at our house, so that we can see how your dog responds to the environment and our other dogs, and so that you can see where they will be staying.
After the meet & greet, we ask you to fill out our Google form with everything that we need to know to provide the best care for your dog. Questions include:
- Does your dog have any medical conditions?
- Is your dog neutered/spayed?
- What is their eating, toileting and walking schedule?
- Where does your dog usually sleep?
- Does your dog have any known behavioural issues?
- How does your dog react to other dogs?
We require all of our dogs to be vaccinated and up-to-date on their flea and worming treatments. We also ask for your contact information while your dog is staying with us, and your consent for how we will walk your dog, board them alongside others, and for a plan of action in the case of an emergency - for that extra peace of mind.
We would encourage booking a trial day for longer stays, to help your dog settle in :)
We also care for cats! (Home visits)
My partner and I love cats as much as we love dogs! My family cat lived to be 18 years old and not a day goes by where I don't miss her. We have so much love to give, and not enough animals to give it to!
We have lived with both indoor and outdoor cats and have experience with kittens to super seniors. We genuinely love the animals that we take care of, so you can rest assured that your furry family member will be spoilt.
We are available most days for home visits in our local area. Feel free to send us any requests that you might have :)
