Hello! I'm Charlie, a proud RSPCA cat socialiser and your next cat sitter!

Although I don't have a cat of my own yet (renting in Manchester can be tricky!), my passion for cats runs deep. For over two years, I've been a volunteer cat socialiser with the RSPCA, where I spend time every week with cats of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and health conditions at the animal centre. This experience has given me the skills to care for a wide variety of cats, each with their unique needs.

From shy, anxious cats that need extra love and patience, to long-term strays who are protective of their food and need time to build trust, to injured cats who are in the process of healing, and even to laid-back senior cats who appreciate companionship—I've met them all. I've also worked with independent cats who prefer their own space and the ever-energetic kittens that we help through grooming and socialisation programs to set them up for a lifetime of positive behaviour.

Through this work, I’ve become skilled at reading cats' body language and understanding their individual personalities. I’m committed to respecting every cat’s boundaries, whether they prefer playtime, quiet company, or just a little attention from a distance.

In addition to my volunteer work, I've also cat-sat for friends, giving me hands-on experience in providing in-home care. My services include feeding, basic cleaning, playtime, and companionship tailored to your cat’s needs. I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and videos, and I'm happy to arrange live Facetime sessions so you can check in with your cats while you're away. I can also help with watering your house plants and taking in parcels if needed.
