Since returning from travelling late 2024, with my wife, and Rocco the dog, we noticed how increasingly difficult it is for pet owners to get a pet sitter, a place at a kennels/cattery, or someone just to do a drop-in to feed, to walk, or give some attention to their pets. We decided that we would step in and help those out that may find themselves at a loss as to who's when going to look after their furry little friends. We've used Pawshake previously - We found the website easy to use, and the sitters have been friendly and helpful in taking care of our dog while we were on holiday.

A bit about me: I'm 40 (something) years old, and am born and raised in Cheltenham. Currently I'm teaching English online to foreigners and studying a degree in English Literature. Fortunately, due to my self-employment I can work anywhere and am pretty flexible, which means I can be mobile most of the time, and have a lot of free hours during the day. I believe that it's essential to have trust in someone looking after your pets and spending time in your home, which is why I can also provide a DBS check if required.

I have a 6 year old labrottie, called Rocco. Previously I have had cats as pets, and rabbits. 

Services I offer:-

Pet drop-ins - This could be in the morning, lunchtime or in the evening. Perhaps you're at work and you want someone just to drop in and feed your dog or cat, let them out for 5 minutes and give them some fuss. 

Last minute events and emergencies, working late, being stuck in traffic, or any kind of emergency which prevents you from getting home on time means you may want someone to check in on your pets. It's reassuring to know that they will be taken care of.

If you're away long term, I can also look after your pet for up to 30 days (or more if needed). Your pet will be fed, watered, generally looked after. Additionally I will make sure that your property is secure in your absence. I will normally spend 30 to 60 minutes at your home.

Pet sitting at the owners home - this could be for a few hours, half a day, all day, or overnight. 

I always arrange an initial meet-up just to get to know you and your loveable pet. It's also a good time for me to gather necessary information.
