My name is Liv, and I’m a passionate and experienced animal carer.

At just 13 years old, I began working at a local dog groomers, and I still work there when I can. During my time there, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience managing reception, grooming dogs, handling retail, and completing a canine first aid training course. I’m committed to improving animals’ well-being and ensuring they feel as calm and comfortable as possible, even during unfamiliar or daunting experiences.

I have a nurturing personality and remain patient and composed in distressing situations. My role involved reassuring dogs through gentle affection, playful interaction, and a calm tone. I learned to read their body language, set appropriate boundaries for safety, and provide thorough aftercare. My grooming skills include bathing, drying, brushing, trimming pads, cutting nails, and clipping. When things were quiet, I stayed busy by cleaning, organizing, and learning from the more experienced groomers.

In addition to my grooming experience, I’ve also provided pet-sitting services for friends and family. Dogs would stay at my home for anything from a day to two weeks. However, since my mum has started a childminding business, I’m no longer able to care for dogs at home. That’s why I’m now offering pet-sitting services in your home—allowing me to continue doing what I love.

I’m reliable, trustworthy, and take my responsibilities seriously. I understand the privilege of being entrusted with someone else’s pet and home. I follow given routines closely and adapt my lifestyle around each animal’s care plan. I prioritize their needs, offering affection, play, and comfort while respecting their boundaries.

I also have experience caring for a variety of pets, including snakes, guinea pigs, hamsters, cats, fish, and more.

A little about me:

I’m 19 (turning 20 in October) and have recently passed my college course in Health and Social Care. I work part-time as a carer for a young person with special needs and occasionally babysit for a family. Alongside that, I regularly dog-sit and continue working at the local groomers. Animals truly make me happy—I love all kinds and understand how difficult it can be to leave your fur babies behind. That’s why I’m dedicated to providing the best possible care. I’ll send you regular updates and photos of your pets and will always communicate any concerns promptly.
