Hello! My name is Thea and I offer a pet sitting service specifically for cats, where I will visit your home to look after your cat(s) while you are away. I am based in Chester-le-Street, but can travel as far as Durham, Newcastle, or Bishop Auckland if needed. The duration of single visits is about 1 hour, but you can book me for double visits which means I will come twice a day (perfect if your kitties are used to being fed in the morning and evening), or overnight which means I will spend the full 24 hours around your cat, which I know can be reassuring to some people whose feline friends require an extra amount of attention. I have been around pets my entire life, and have owned a cat (on occasion several cats) since the age of 7. I know from experience how difficult it can be to leave your pet when going away, so I would love to help ease this process and make both you and your feline friend's experience apart as comfortable and stress-free as possible by providing them with the utmost care and attention during your time away. I know that every cat is different and always take the time to get to know the cat's own set of needs and ways of communicating. I have previous experience looking after kitties, including shy and aloof cats who tend to warm to me in their own way. If you choose me as your next cat sitter I will make sure your kitty is well taken care of, and will send daily pictures and updates of our time together. I offer daily visits to your home so that your cat can feel comfortable in its own environment, and can also do overnight stays. I am usually available in the morning and early afternoon, but can be made available other times of day if needed. I am also happy to water plants and collect mail.
