Hello my name is Joanne, I live with my husband and my two children who are aged 8 and 9 1/2 years old. I currently own a male beagle called Fudge and have done so for 5 years. Fudge is a rescue beagle and we have had him from 5 months old, he is a very confident dog and he likes to play. When I was growing up I was brought up with both labradors and collies. Previously I have also owned my own horse called Mactavish for over 25 years, I looked after Mactavish until 2012. When I met my husband he had a cat called Kita who I helped to look after for his final 3 years until he passed away.
My preference is dog walking and Pet Visit , ideally during term time as I have a family. I also have an enhanced DBS from a seasonal job which is still current. I am a stay at home mum and I feel that now is the time to expand into dog walking. I would like to offer dog walking services around term time only, and no weekends. My availablity is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday only from 10am to 2.30pm to work around school hours.
I can offer morning appointments from 10am to 12pm and afternoon appointments From 1230pm to 2pm
I can offer either 1 hour dog walking with collection from home (within a reasonable distance from my home) or a 45 mins home visit for letting out and playtime.
I am very lucky where I live as I have vast amounts of open space to walk a dog, however my back garden is quite small and is made up mostly of stones and a large trampoline for the children.
My Beagle is neutered and he is very friendly, where possible i would like to walk him as as well as another dog together, obviously this would depend on the preferences of dog to be walked.
A typical day would be a dog walk for 1 hour then returned to the client watered and fed if also required, or altenatively to the client's home and following any instructions given.
Any clients dog will be given plenty of praise and attention during it's time with me, and will be my main focus during their time with me.
I am happy to walk small to medium size dogs, and I welcome all breeds.
I will treat all the dogs as if they were my own.
My operations are covid safe, and I am happy to discuss any specific requirements covid related or otherwise.

Another fantastic experience with Joanne :-) The Three Amigos as she calls them really do love her and when she popped in to collect keys the other day Ragnar jumped onto the table and rolled onto his back for belly rubs. He doesn’t even do that for me!! Joanne is simply the best :-)
Joanne has been cat sitting for our two cats since 2022, this was the fourth time. She visits morning and evening to feed and interact with our cats.
Joanne is completely reliable,she sends us photos and updates after each visit. We feel very happy to leave the cats in Joanne’s care.
