I've kept my own animals all my life and provide loving care, pet sitting and walks in and around your home.

My first job was in a pet shop where I first learned about looking after exotics parrots, lizards, axolotyls and snakes alongside small furries, rabbits, rats, mice and guinea pigs. I've worked at an Irish Wolfhound Stud as a dog walker and on small holdings looking after geese, chickens, ducks, sheep, cows and horses. When I travelled to New Zealand I worked on a small holding with goats and cows and on a farm with 6 show jumping horses, 3 pigs and over 1,000 dairy cows. In the past 10 years I trained as an animal healer and communicator. Over my adult years I have cat sat, small furries and exotics, and house sat and exercised many dogs, as well as horses and donkeys, all in their own homes.

I understand how important it is to keep animals calm and happy and use our very own pet sitter, many of our own animals are rescues and I know how much their anxiety can be heightened when we go away, so am highly motivated to ensue our animals and any that I am entrusted with do not go through this. We currently share our home with 4 cats, 1 dog and 1 bearded dragon, though I also look after 2 rescue donkeys and 4 rabbits, all of whom have very specific needs.

I provide pet sitting in your home for cats, dogs, small furries, small farm animals including ferrets and donkeys and exotics such as reptiles. I also provide dog walking for your dogs while they stay at home and am keen to explore the area to ensure they get the very best walks. Equally I know some fantastic walks in and around Colchester, Highwoods Country Park, The Roman Fields, Bourne Woods, The Wicke, The Wivenhoe Trail and many more.

I can take dogs in my care to these locations and have my own very calm dog who loves to socialise with other dogs, no matter how boisterous they may be. Equally I am happy to leave my dog at home if the dogs I'm looking after are not okay with other dogs. I'll update you with photos of your beloved pet and treat them as my own while you are away and will collect the post, water plants and open and close curtains if required.
