Hi there, my name is Charlotte and I live in Colchester, Essex. As someone who has always absolutely adored dogs, I would love to dedicate more of my time caring for dogs around my everyday routine.

I currently work from home full-time as part of my job in Marketing but have always wanted to look after dogs and thought dog boarding/doggy daycare would fit around my life perfectly.  Dogs are extremely helpful for boosting my mood and supporting my wellbeing.

My work day is very flexible which means I am able to plan my day around the needs of any dog that comes to stay and ensure they get enough attention. I also have the freedom on my lunch breaks to go outside which means I can use this time for dog walking if I need to. 

My Living Location & Environment

I am fortunate to own a 2-bed house which has a lovely fenced back garden for easy outdoor access for dogs who come to stay. My home is also a stone's throw away from a beautiful park and playing field with plenty of open space for taking dogs on walks. If your dog is used to being in a pen, I have a good sized pen at mine already that I can set up. But will need owners to bring a crate if their dog prefers that.

A Little Bit About Me

I have always had a passion for animals, and have grown up with pet dogs and been around dogs of many different breeds and sizes. I am experienced in providing a wide range of pet care services, including feeding, walking, basic grooming and administering tablets and ear cleaning solutions. 

Overall, I am a very punctual, reliable, trustworthy and organised person. So all of my potential clients can be rest assured that their furry friends receive only the best quality care and companionship during their visit.

In addition to my experience, I possess excellent communication skills, which I believe are essential for a successful dog sitter. I am able to communicate effectively with both dogs and their owners, ensuring that all parties are happy and comfortable. 

I will ensure to send my clients regular updates and photos of their dogs, so that they have full peace of mind and reassurance. I’ll make sure all dogs are made to feel super welcome and have the utmost positive experience. My client’s dogs will also have run of our entire house and be allowed onto our furniture, if this is something they are used to already.

Potential clients will need to ensure that their dog is:

Small to medium size

Fully vaccinated

Well toilet trained

Non-destructive

Friendly and sociable

Lead trained

Can be left for a couple of hours or more if myself and my partner need to go out.
