Hello!
I’m Jules, I am K9 Behaviour/First Aid/CPR and Animal Care & Psychology Trained! We live just off Cooks Lane, B37 area on a very quiet cul-de-sac. I grew up with pets from a very young age and volunteered in several shelters whilst in my teens and early adult life.
We never leave dogs unattended so they will have human contact 24/7. My partner has slept downstairs many times with anxious dogs.
(We dog board privately so our calendar will be updated as and when we've taken in a new booking. The days will be marked as unavailable)
I hold a “Fully Enhanced" DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Full Police check. I worked within the "vulnerable adult & children sector" My certificate is updated yearly which is an added bonus for looking after your fur babies in my own home. We also offer home visits to feed your kitty cats whilst you're away at work or on holiday.
Currently I have 2 double golden doodles of my own who have just turned 1yr old and love having playmates over. They're well socialised with other dogs. Your fur baby will always have 24/7 care, we never leave dogs in our care unattended, either my partner or myself are always available.
I can board your furr babies short term or for long term stays. We have a regular who has been boarding with us for 2 months at a time for many years now.
I live in a largish house with a secured fenced back garden and conservatory. There is plenty of room for the dogs to play. My dogs as well as your own have the run of the downstairs and have their very own doggy lounge that we use all the time, it's a open lounge with no doors and opens up into the hallway right through to the kitchen and conservatory leading to outside. Our dogs are walked twice to three times daily, early morning after their breakfast and in the evening around our local park and lake, they will also have an afternoon walk if it's not hot!
We do have experience with senior dogs and cats and administering medications, creams and injections etc Some of our own pets required meds in their later life. Senior dogs will be walked separately at their own pace. We will follow their own routine that they’re used to.
I’m very easy going and allow my pets on the sofas in the doggy lounge and conservatory, the sofa and chairs recline and we recline these at night for the dogs to sleep. They have the run of the house downstairs during the day, night time and they sleep either in the doggy lounge or hallway at night or in my bedroom if your dog suffers with separation anxiety.. So your pooch will be well cared for and spoilt with plenty of belly rubs and back scratches. If your dog uses a crate to sleep this will need to be supplied.
I can bring a wealth of related experience looking after your pets. I will respect the owner's wishes, follow the routines they have established for their animals and maintain a high standard of care for the animals. Each pet sit has its own unique set of requirements and I will provide regular updates and images of pets for the owner's peace of mind.

I was nervous about leaving our 15 year old Labrador as he's only stayed with family friends or been on holiday with us. He is on medication for arthritis and this was a concern for me. However I needn't have worried as Dexter had the best 2 weeks. He absolutely loved the other dogs , he had the best care and attention in a comfy home from home environment and we had regular photos and updates of his time there. Julie and Baz are experienced and dedicated and we picked Dexter up as happy as we dropped him off. I would highly recommend them to care for your dog and Dexter will definitely return when we go away again. Thanks to you both for giving me peace of mind and looking after our boy so well .
Julie and Barry are amazing!! Our dog has separation anxiety (and so do I!)
They went above and beyond to make him and us comfortable in his two week stay with them.
Regular photo updates and adapting for his needs after a recent operation made me relax and enjoy our holiday. He was a really happy boy when we picked him up, and you could tell he’d had a great time.
Can’t recommend Julie and Barry enough,
they are just wonderful!
So great to have found lovely people we trust for our boy.
Kate and Mark.
