My name is Layla, I am 47 years of age and I am the owner of two rescue cats, Maurice and Maisy, two rescue rabbits, Cinnabun and Marbles and a Chihuahua, they all bring us lots of joy and love.

Since starting Lilpets small animal care I have met some lovely pet owners and pets. I understand how important it is for your beloved pets to be cared for in there own home when you go away. Rather than packing your pets off to a pet hotel which can be very stressful I will visit your home for up to an hour once or twice a day, to clean out, feed, pet and give love and attention, I can also administer basic medication if required.

I always require detailed information about your pets requirements so that I can give him/her the best possible care. For your peace of mind I will keep you updated with photo's etc. via email or text so that you know how your beloved pets are while your away. 

I have lots of experience caring for animals, I have owned cats since childhood and I worked voluntarily in a rescue centre in Turkey for 6 months caring for tortoises where we also bred and released them back into the wild, this experience was invaluable.

I have my own transport and am happy to cover areas within an 8 miles radius form my home. I offer a free introductory service as I feel it is important to meet and greet your pets before looking after them.

I will provide care for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and other small mammals. I don't provide a dog walking service however I do offer a let out service for small dog breeds at your home during my visits.

I am fully DBS checked.
I am fully insured to run a pet sitting business and to transport animals if necessary, this includes £5,000,000 Public Liability cover, Care, Custody and Control of Animals and Key Cover.
