I am retired and worked as an accountant with IBM. I have always run or walked every day and still love to do so. My other hobbies are concerts, theatre, reading and playing Bridge. My wife and I have two cats – Charlie and Stressie. I supervised their births together with their sister Cyd who has now passed on (picture of all three included). They were born to a very frightened stray pregnant cat who we took on. I have had two wonderful dogs – Bruce (a Border collie) and Sam (a German shepherd). I am an animal lover, responsible and trustworthy.
I live by the West Shore in Llandudno so there is flat dog walking and on the sands; also, more adventurous walking over the Great Orme.
I am particularly motivated as a pet sitter and walker as I have always had pet cats and dogs but now live in an upper floor flat which makes this difficult.
I am pleased to walk dogs for any distance on any terrain (short or long walks; hilly or flat).
I am happy to make home visits for as long as required as I love to play with pets or enjoy reading if they are quiet or asleep.

David has been really excellent. He is conscientous, caring and very thorough in wanting to get everything as right as possible. We were on an extended trip away and asking David to care for our cat daily over this period was asking a lot. He has been brilliant. He has not only fed our cat but also interacted with her to keep her from getting distressed and lonely. He spotted when work going on in the house while we were away was affecting her so we were able to take appropriate action. He has kept in touch with us via messages, photos and even videos. We were very reassured by all this. Superb. We highly recommend him.
David is a lovely guy who I can highly recommend in caring for your pets. He kept me updated with pictures and messages whilst we were away , which reassured me !! The cats were definitely well looked after !! 😁
