Hi, I'm Chris, my wife's name is Belinda and we would be very interested in becoming Pet Sitters.

Although we have no professional experience of pet sitting, we have throughout our lives been around domestic pets. My parents had two dogs, growing up and have ever since had an infinity with animals and forming strong bonds. I have also, in the past been entrusted with dogs taken into my care in times where my close relatives had work commitments or had booked to go on holiday abroad. In particular my brother's dog - a working cocker spaniel - who being a high maintenance breed, needed constant attention and plenty of exercise. 

My wife too absolutely adores all animals. A life long cat owner, she has had similar experience of dog sitting, including dog walking, ensuring they were well fed and giving them the love and attention they required. More recently we even had the responsibility of looking after a friend's goose off and on over a period of a year while they were living away.

We would provide the absolute best care for our client's pets. We aim, at this early stage to keep our options as open as possible. Being genuinely commited, flexible people we would need to comit to certain responsibilities to fit around our lives; we appreciate it may take time to develop a rapport with our clients taking into account compatibility and confidence building and trust. We also appreciate that occasionally certain situations may arise which we would need to consider beforehand - we are cat owners which we hope shouldn't prove a limitation when boarding a dog. (Vaccinated pets in our home is not be essential.)

I am very much an outdoor person; being fit and healthy I would naturally be suited to dog walking. My wife, Belinda is home throughout the day and would love to have an extra companion to take care of whilst I'm usually in work. We live in a lovely semi-detached house (so much so that one of our neighbour's cats had decided to permanently move in with us) in a quiet neighbourhood with an adjacent park on the edge of a forest. We are good natured, confident, reliable, friendly, conscientious people. Animals are comfortable around us as we are around them.

Finally I would like to add that we are acting, I suppose in our best interests as well as our potential clients. Financial aspects have probably now blighted our chances of ever ownning our own dog, when taking into account in today's financial climate, including the name of animal welfare. In the meantime we like to think we would provide an excellent and inexpensive service.
