My name is Alexandra and my motivation to become a pet sitter and dog walker stems from a lifelong passion for animals and a genuine desire to provide them with the care and companionship they deserve. Growing up surrounded by pets, I learned first-hand the joy and fulfilment that comes from nurturing and supporting animals. I believe that every pet deserves kindness, attention, and exercise, regardless of their owners’ busy schedules. Dog walking and pet sitting allow me to combine my love for animals with my commitment to helping others, ensuring pets are happy, healthy, and safe when their owners are away. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in building trusting relationships with pets and their owners, offering peace of mind through reliable and compassionate care. This role is more than a job to me—it’s a chance to make a positive difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them.

I have owned a myriad of pets throughout my life from cats and dogs, reptiles, chipmunks, rabbits, hamsters and gerbils to mention but a few and I have cherished all of them. I have pet sitting experience and although relatively new to dog walking I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes having owned dachshunds to a sarloos wolfdog/german shepherd cross. I have fostered dogs for a dog rescue charity including some with complex behavioural issues and have adopted one of them. I currently have the privilege in owning two dogs, a cat and a snake.

I cover South Lanarkshire and surrounding areas and offer care services for dogs, cats, all small furry animals, birds and reptiles. I will ensure your pet is fed and watered, dogs are walked or receive regular toilet breaks, cat litter trays are cleaned or your pet enclosure poop scooped and cleaned according to your instructions. I will provide enrichment games where appropriate and plenty of interaction and cuddles!

I have been pet and house sitting for friends and family for several years now which I have loved doing and eventually decided that I'd like to do this at a professional level. I live in a rural area so have the luxury of having some wonderful countryside side walks on my doorstep which my current dogs enjoy immensely as well as visiting local off lead enclosed dedicated dog parks.
