Welcome to my profile! My name is Kendal Wright, I'm 22 years old and I live in a spacious semi detached house which features a large, enclosed garden with my cat and 1 year old daughter, Nia.

I have over ten years experience dealing with both dogs and cats. For as long as I can remember, we have always had a family cat and I currently own a small, spoilt and outdoor domestic- Delilah; who is very tolerant and nonchalant towards dogs and other cats.

I have never actually owned a dog but I have many years experience of handling and taking care of them as I always take it upon myself to look after my friends and neighbours dogs and take them for walks. My elder sister has previously owned Bull Terriers and currently has a lovely English Bull Terrier named Daphne. I also have experience with boarding dogs in my home as I have been doing this since the beginning of 2019.

I am home based and boarding animals is my only occupation (and so far has been the best occupation at that!) This means when your pet stays with me, they will be provided with 24/7 around the clock care, given constant attention and TLC. Every walking, feeding and sleeping requirement will be met and regular updates including pictures and videos will be provided. I am also able to administer oral medications if needs be. I like to try and make your pet feel as comfortable and settled as possible by giving them free roam of the house and access to every room. This means that they’re more than welcome to sleep where they prefer including on my bed. My aim is to make it feel like a home stay away from their home. I am also available to board in the owners home if they prefer this type of arrangement instead. I have stayed at various other homes since I began pet sitting and am happy to provide references which reflect on the respectful, tidy and trustworthy person I am when invited to look after animals at the homeowners property.

My house is a smoke free home. It’s very clean and spacious and has a large, enclosed, fully secured garden which makes it very suitable to house animals here. There is also woodland just around the corner from where I live which makes it perfect for walks.

I’ve always loved animals and found lots of happiness and enjoyment through looking after them. However, the real reason I became a pet sitter was because I was wrongfully dismissed from my previous job for being pregnant. I didn’t know what to do with myself because at the time I was already showing (making me look undesirable to other employers), plus I was very sick with hypermeresis. I wanted company and companionship and also thought it was a great way to stay fit throughout my pregnancy. In all honesty, it was the best decision I ever made! I became happier, more motivated and affectionate, I was able to bond with the animals and create some great experiences. I’ve met many lovely dogs and cats so far and I’m looking forward to meeting many more along the way.

I am a very friendly, approachable person who is outgoing, organised and fun. I am prepared to meet the wants and needs you have in order to look after your animals and give them the high standard of care you would expect. No request is too big and I will always try my best to accommodate any request. I am available seven days a week.
