Hello! I’m Caitlyn 🙂

A little bit about me:
I work part-time as an Engagement Officer for a maternity charity in Devon. I moved to Exeter five years ago and quickly fell in love with the area. I’m a big nature lover and enjoy any excuse to get outside.

I love my job, but I don’t get to spend nearly as much time with animals as I’d like. That’s why I’m excited to start pet sitting again after a few years - nothing fills the heart quite like spending time with a dog or cat!

My experience with animals:
I grew up with dogs, spent two years volunteering at a cat rescue, and have plenty of previous pet-sitting experience. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to look after your pet so that both you and your animal feel comfortable and relaxed.

Every pet is unique, and having cared for animals with different personalities and needs, I’m happy to follow your instructions and adapt to what works best for them. I always keep owners updated with regular texts and photos during visits so you can feel reassured while you’re away (and have some extra cute photos for your pet album!).

I also have a dog called Merlin who lives with my family in London. He’s a rescue cream Labrador and, in my completely unbiased opinion, the best boy in the universe. Looking after Merlin has taught me a lot about helping dogs settle into a home and giving them the stimulation they need - whether that’s walks, games, treat puzzles, or plenty of cuddles.

Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I’ll always treat your dog or cat with the same love and care that I would give to my own.

My Availability:

• I am typically available all day Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
• I work Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
• Permanent and regular bookings will be considered if you live within walking distance
• I do not currently have a car so bookings within less than an 20 minutes walking distance from me are most ideal

Initial Steps:

• I always organise an initial visit which is free of charge
• It’s an opportunity for me to meet you and your pet(s) so you can decide whether I am the right fit.
• It also ensures I can learn and get to know your pet(s) in an environment where they feel safe.
• Should you decide that I am the correct fit, I will share a form for you to fill in so I know all the necessary information about your pet(s) such as Veterinary details
  

My Services:

1) Dog Walking

• Maximum of 2 dogs
• Up to 1 hour
• Off-Lead Play dependent on the extent of your dog’s recall
• Stimulation before or after walks EG: Playing, Giving them a Kong or Cuddles etc...
• Fresh Water
• Pictures and regular updates
• Securely locking the property and ensuring your dog is in a safe, risk-free area
  

2) Home Visits: For Dogs and Cats

• Maximum of 2 dogs and 4 cats
• Up to 1 hour
• Stimulation EG: Playing, Giving them a Kong or Cuddles etc...
• Fresh Water and Feeding if necessary
• Cleaning litter trays or taking the dog out to the toilet in the garden
• Pictures and regular updates
• Securely locking the property and ensuring your dog or cat is in a safe, risk-free area
  

3) House Sitting: For Dogs and Cats

• Maximum of 2 dogs and 4 cats
• Up to 2 nights - longer stays considered
• Stimulation EG: Playing, Giving them a Kong or Cuddles etc…
• Dog walks included
• Fresh Water, Feeding
• Administering any necessary medications
• Cleaning litter trays and/or taking the dog out to the toilet regularly
• Pictures and regular updates
• I will leave the house for a maximum of 3/4 hours (depending on what is best for the dog/cat(s) and you)
• Securely Locking The House and ensuring your dog or cat is in a safe, risk-free area
• Leaving the house in the same state as when I arrived
