Based in Wenvoe, I live on my own and have been a devoted dog lover all my life. I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds, from French Bulldogs and Labradors to Greyhounds, Terriers and Collies. Each has its own particular needs – for example, I understand that sighthounds like Greyhounds benefit from a gentler pace on walks, while more energetic breeds such as Collies need extra mental stimulation along the way. Over the years, I’ve developed useful skills including reinforcing basic obedience (such as recall and loose-lead walking) and supporting dogs with separation anxiety through calm, consistent routines and positive reassurance. I’m also confident caring for dogs with additional needs, including mobility issues or dietary requirements, and can administer prescribed medication safely and reliably.

I walk at least three miles every day, whatever the weather, making the most of scenic local footpaths, nearby woodland and quiet country lanes around Wenvoe. Safety is always my priority – I keep dogs on a lead in busy areas or near roads and use secure harnesses or collars. I like to vary our routes to keep things interesting, and I carefully manage interactions with other dogs and people so that everyone remains comfortable and at ease.

My home is warm, secure and dog-friendly, with dedicated spaces for rest and relaxation. While I don’t have a private garden, there is a well-kept communal garden used only by residents and their pets, where I always supervise closely. For overnight stays or day care, I stick to each dog’s usual routine to help them settle, provide comfortable bedding, and send regular updates with photos so owners can feel reassured.
