Based in Wenvoe, I’m a solo-living dog enthusiast who’s been surrounded by dogs my entire life – I’ve cared for everything from French Bulldogs and Labradors to Greyhounds, Terriers and Collies. Each breed has its own unique needs: I know sighthounds like Greyhounds need gentle pacing on walks, while energetic breeds like Collies thrive on extra mental stimulation along the way. I’ve picked up valuable skills over the years, including helping dogs with basic obedience reinforcement (like recall and loose-leash walking) and supporting those with separation anxiety by using calm, consistent routines and positive reassurance. I’m also comfortable managing dogs with special needs, such as mobility issues or dietary restrictions, and can administer prescribed medication safely and reliably.

I walk at least 3 miles every day, rain or shine, exploring scenic local footpaths, nearby woodlands and quiet country lanes around Wenvoe. Safety is my top priority – I always keep dogs on a lead in busy areas or near roads, use secure harnesses or collars with up-to-date ID tags, and stay alert to potential hazards like uneven ground or toxic plants. We vary routes to keep things engaging, and I carefully monitor interactions with other dogs and people to ensure everyone stays comfortable and safe.

My home is warm, secure and dog-friendly, with dedicated resting spaces. While there’s no private garden, we have access to a well-maintained communal garden that’s only used by residents and their pets – I always supervise closely here too. For emergencies, I keep a list of local vets and animal hospitals handy, and know how to recognise signs of distress or illness. For overnight stays or daycare, I follow each dog’s usual routine to help them settle in, provide cosy beds, and send regular updates with photos so owners can feel at ease.
