My experience with fostering pets started several years ago, when my
friend found a 1-month-old kitten on the street and rescued it, but was
unable to keep it in her home, so she asked me to foster until we find
him a permanent home. I named the little guy Simba (original, I know!)
and took care of him for 3 months before finding him a permanent, loving
home. Since then, I have been housesitting dogs, cats, and even
rabbits.
I care for pets in their own home by following their usual routines to
keep them happy, comfortable, and stress-free. I start by learning all
about their needs—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if
needed), and any special instructions. I make sure to keep their
environment clean, safe, and familiar. I also give them lots of love,
attention, and affection, always respecting their personality—whether
they’re shy and quiet or playful and energetic. I’ll regularly update
you with photos and messages, so you know your pet is in great hands
while you're away.
