About Karen
My name is Karen im 37 and I live in Durham, my home is surrounded by fields where I regularly take my dog Ronnie he is a 2 year old bull greyhound he is very loving and energetic he gets on with other dogs, as most of my neighbours have dogs he's been around them since he was a puppy (he gets happy to see dogs and people) I allow him on furniture as he is part of the family and can go anywhere in the house, dogs need comfort too.. I live alone so have all the time to look after your fur baby too, I have a big garden where they can play.
since the pandemic I've spent all my time with him and realised that I want to care for others dogs too. I've pet sat before for dogs and cats and enjoyed it very much I love that each animal has its own unique personality, I've grown up with cats, rabbits, snakes, fish and gerbils so I've been surrounded by pets my whole life, I even used to ride horses with my friends and help muck them out.
I find myself out with my dog 3 or 4 times a day for at least 40 mins each time and even meet up with friends, I've always allowed other dogs in my house and there is always something to do for them so they don't get bored, mine has lots of toys and tug ropes ( he has his own toy box ) so there would be lots of fun and games and some lazy days too to relax, I keep a variety of treats for training and when he's been good, I do a little bit of training with him each day so will do the same with your dog/s if you would like
I have a gate indoors separating the living room and the kitchen so if the dogs need some time out or just like to be on their own there is a place for them to go, they will be fed in the kitchen but if they like to eat alone the gate is there to accommodate this, I have lots of different size cushions for them to lay on and sleep so they will be cozy
I will be home all day so the dog/s will have my full attention the whole time they are staying
My dog IS fully vaccinated and has been neutered so not essential for yours to be
If your dog need any medication I can do this too just let me know when and how much etc
I don't drive so wouldn't be able to collect your dog/s they would need to be dropped off and meeting before is your choice
