I've had 4 1/2 years experience with many different types of animals. Including Horses, sheep, donkeys, chickens, cats, dogs and birds. 

I've had Shy, quiet and outgoing or attention loving pets. I Know how to handle every pet personality responsibly.

 I pet sit because it brings me joy and peace to be around animals. Especially as I can't have lots of animals in my house haha, so it gives me joy to be around animals I wouldnt be able to have myself.

I have a very shy cat named maisey, so I understand for some pet owners it can be a worry to have a pet that can't interact with everyone or to have a sitter that would attend to your pets needs. I am fully aware and supportive of everyone's choices so If there is any requirements or concerns please do let me know and i'll be happy to meet them to a high standard. 

Any behavioural issues, or anything your pet doesn't like please communicate these concerns with me. Some pets are stand off ish, and I understand that, if so i'll be happy to meet them beforehand when you're home just for your pet to get accustomed to me there. I find this helps them understand who I am and i'm there to care for them. We can also address any other concerns in person!

I've had experience pet sitting overnight/ walking pets or even just visiting to feed and play with them for a little while. In a case of an emergency I will contact you right away, I can drive them to a vet near you before you arrive and keep you updated via text, or I can wait for you to get back. Or if there is a plan in place I will follow the instructions provided!

 If in a case where medicine is needed to be provided a lot of owners have a step by step plan in place usually they take it with a meal, or in some cases it's throughout the day. If there is a specific way you'd like me to handle medicine please let me know. Usually if it's throughout the day I will give your pet the medicine followed often by a treat or something they enjoy as a reward. 

 I do have a car so if you're happy I can take them to various parks/places with no extra charge, some owners are comfortable with that and some prefer local walks and I'm happy to do either! 

Walk times are completely up to you! From 10 minutes to an hour, every pet will need different lengths depending on breed/age so any amount of time is okay for me to do.

I take bookings overnight from Monday- Thursday! Walking can be anytime during the entire week however, I work from 12pm on weekends so morning walks only on weekends! 

Some owners would like a time cap on how long pets are left alone for or how long I spend interacting them when I am visiting to feed them. I often spend a little longer playing and engaging with them once or before I feed them to help them be less lonely. If you love to be updated or sent photos of your pet as reassurance i'd be happy to do so, usually I let pet owners know when i have arrived and when I will leave!
