I have more than 10 years of experience of caring for other people's pets and understand how important a job it is. I have two rescue dogs of my own and their happiness and welfare is my number one priority and I apply the same principles when caring for other people's dogs. I've been a member of another platform for the last two years and have a five-star rating caring for a whole range of animals from sheep to chickens to horses, as well as cats and dogs.
I lead an active, outdoors lifestyle which works really well with dog walking and hosting and means lots of adventures and exercise! I have a cozy home (which the dogs have free reign of!) and a safe and secure, fenced garden. I am a dog foster with a number of charities working specifically with strays and young dogs or those with special behavioural needs. My training approach is to build optimism through positive reinforcement as I've found this to be the most effective in the long term. I've recently completed both my canine first aid certificate as well as my level 3 in professional canine daycare and boarding.
I have one very active dog, and one more sedate dog, so our daily routine is a combination of leisurely walks and downtime, with more energetic activities like canicross and flyball. So we offer
something for every type of pet!
