After years of looking after my own cats, and cat sitting friends' and families' cats when they go on holiday, I've decided to finally set myself up as a cat sitter and start doing the thing I love the most full-time!

I'm DBS checked, and am currently working with the Animal Care College to achieve a Level 2 Certificate in Feline First Aid. 

I believe every cat has their own distinct personality and I love getting to know each and every one. 

During my visits I like to take the time to let the cats get to know me, to have a good sniff and find out where I've come from. I take it nice and slow with shy cats - my Jinx is very shy, even after 10 years the smallest thing can make him run and hide, so I know to be slow and calm at all times with him. I love spending time playing with them too - I never just feed them and run.

I've had pets all my life, from the family dog when I was little, to hamsters, gerbils, fish, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, rabbits, and of course, cats. I got my first cat, a gorgeous long-haired rescue called Benny, when I was 18, and I haven't been without a cat since - in fact I usually have two. My cats are both indoor cats as we live near busy roads, but we are big outdoor animal fans too, and have feeders for birds and squirrels that we regularly replenish in our garden. We're getting a big selection of birds visit us at the moment, including greenfinch, bluetits, doves, blackbirds, and woodpeckers.

We're currently redesigning our garden to have a big wildflower area to encourage bees and other insects. Nature and animals are our thing ☺️
