I have several years experience in a veterinary practice and am a practising doctor. Before I started human medicine I worked in a busy London veterinary practice performing veterinary assistant duties including administering oral and injectable medications, specialised feeding, dental care, surgical assistance and assisting with general check ups for anything from cats and dogs to pigeons and goldfish. I've also done a secondment to the Blue Cross Animal Hospital where I looked after the inpatients and had an entertaining afternoon with some very lively ferrets.

I've always loved all animals indiscriminately! I have my own cat, and have lived with dogs of many shapes and sizes, including regular walkies. I've also done quite a lot of rabbit sitting for an elderly bunny on quite a few meds!

I'm happy to provide residential pet care in your own home so you can holiday in peace knowing your furry friend is being looked after. Also happy to do visits within the London region.

As for why I'm doing this, a friend of mine (the bunny owner) recommended the app as she's a Pawshake regular. I've just come back to London from a year working at a hospital in Malawi, and have run out of money! I'm not starting full time medical work again until Feb '23 but have plenty of flexibility and free time so I thought why not?!
