Ive owned pets my whole life, i have owned my current cat for 12 years (recently moved away from home and have been seeking a way to love and care for more animals as Im so used to being around them). I have owned an energetic irish red setter and a golden retriever when I was much younger and lived in the highlands so I have experience around high energy dogs and puppies. I love all animals and strive to provide them with love and attention (not to mention treats). I have been asked to take care of animals for family members growing up and my mum is also a dog sitter and I would love for the opportunity to build a more solid professional portfolio with animals. I wanted to give taking care of others' pets a shot and allowing owners to feel comfort knowing their pet is in safe hands and find myself some companionship. I am incredibly reliable, flexible and trustworthy and will do everything I can to make sure I provide the service you are looking for. You can see through my profile pictures, some pictures of how happy and content my own cat is (black and white tabby and a picture of her when she was a kitten) and the two kittens ive taken care of for a family friend for 6 months. I have also briefly volunteered in a zoo where I studied animal behaviour and wrote a talk on behaviour and conservation in the education centre of Edinburgh zoo.

I can also look after animals such as chickens, birds, fish, reptiles (I have owned a gecko in the past) if you are interested in these kinds of services alongside dog or cat care please let me know! I have experience with reptiles and have owned a gecko in the past and my neice owns a ferret so I have very brief experience with smaller pets but I'm open to learning and can adapt quickly to all kinds of pets!

I am currently at university and study from home (studying biology with a passion for zoology so caring for animals is my part time job and full time passion), I also have a second part time 

art freelancing job of which I set my own schedule so im free any time of the week and can come at any hour. My schedule is here to fit your needs as an owner and im available for repeat services.

I take all the necessary precautions where it comes to animal safety. I keep a safe, clean and relaxed environment and making sure an animal feels physically safe as well as mentally calm and secure is my top priority. I am able to crate animals if needed and have experience with administering medication.
