Hi! My name is Amanda and I recently moved from to Edinburgh from Canada! In Canada, I have 2 family dogs (a mini poodle and a Collie/Shepherd). As well, I have a horse boarded at nearby stables called Bailey. I have experience with dogs since the age of 6 years old and all other barnyard animals since 9 years old. While living in Toronto for 6 years, I lived with 2 cats owned my roomates that I loved dearly. I absolutely adore animals and have found myself missing their presence since moving to the UK.

As far as my pet sitting experience goes: I have pet/house sat for my boss and multiple coworkers in Canada for cats and dogs. I took care of my boss' cat, Nugget, for 2 weeks while he was on a business trip.

I also love walking and could walk dogs for 12 hours a day without complaint. My border collie/shepherd at home needs at least 2 hours of walking per day so I am very familiar with high energy and reactive breeds.

I am more than happy to care for animals in my own home as well! I have a large one bedroom flat in Gorgie with my partner who also adores animals. Though we don't have outdoor space, I am very active and am happy to walk and play with the pet as much as needed. We would love to have animals of our own but travel and move around quite frequently. We both work at a restaurant in the centre and typically have opposite shifts so one of us is always home to care for your pet. If not, we will drop everything to take care of animals!!
