Hi my name is Ruth and I am a registered veterinary nurse, who has worked in veterinary clinics for the last 11 years.

Since 2020 I have worked predominantly in emergency medicine, helping nurse animals and administer life saving treatments. I am now lucky to help train the next generation of veterinary surgeons at the university hospital, whilst also caring for animals at the small animal hospital.

I have been surrounded by animals ever since I can remember, coming from a particularly cat mad household! I have owned rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and of course cats. But I still dream of the day when I will can rescue a Dalmatian!! For the past 15years I have looked after family, friends and clients pets, caring for those who need a fuss when their owners are away, regular medication or trainining.

I enjoy taking walks and going for runs in my local parks, and would love to have some four legged friends to make my trips even more enjoyable.

I joined the Pawshake community 8years ago, but did not use it. I am now hoping to use it as I have relocated cities and would love to get to know different pets in my local area. I can't wait to give your pets the love and attention they deserve whilst you are away!
