I am a Zoology graduate who is aiming to get a career in animal behaviour research or conservation. While I am still career-searching I would love to offer my services as a pet-sitter. From a very young age I have been surrounded by animals and I regularly look after the pets of friends, family and neighbours, including dogs, cats, tortoises... I always give any animal in my care 100% love and attention, with the health and wellbeing of the animal being the upmost priority. I volunteer regularly at Edinburgh Zoo where I educate the public about various animal species and conservation issues.
As I am trying to save money, I am living at home with my parents in our family house. This means that any pet coming to stay gets even more love and attention from other members in my family. There is a small but very secure and enclosed back garden that is perfect for a pet to get relax in and get some fresh air. The nearest park is 5 minutes away and there are many other good dog-walking areas nearby.
Dog guests usually stay in the kitchen/dining room area which has direct access to the garden. There is one sofa in that room which is always made dog-friendly with a dog blanket and I do allow dogs on it - if you don't want your dog on any furniture please let me know. Usually dogs are not allowed upstairs or on any other furniture.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Our dog Archie had a lovely day with Caitlin and her family. He came back from his day with her a very settled and happy dog. Caitlin was quick to respond to any messages and accommodating to any changes in plans. Would highly recommend.
