Hello! I’m Helen 👋🏼 

⭐️ I have Pet Business Insurance which is an extra layer of protection for both of us. I'm a chill, dog-savvy human who relishes the company of animals and is lucky enough to have plenty of free time to do so.

🐕 I've previously owned a Beagle x Whippet, a Greyhound, and also fostered dogs. My experience has taught me a huge amount about the importance of patience and routine in helping dogs settle into new environments.

☮️ I get to know each' temperament, give them their space to relax, and recognise when they're up for playtime. 

🫱🏼🫲🏽 I don’t currently have a dog of my own, but I’m the resident pet sitter for quite a few clients, friends and colleagues, so it’s something I’m trusted for.

🏠I live in a 2 bed flat but have a good sized shared garden, a snug dog bed, standing dog bowls, spare leads and toys for all guests.

‼️ I always keep dogs on a led.

‼️ I only take neutered/spayed dogs, and those who don’t pull on the lead.

‼️ I’m currently unable to take dogs that can’t be left for a few hours (separation anxiety etc).

📝 Personalised Pet Profiles: I've a background in Social Care, so I create a wee 'support plan' profile of your pet which includes likes/dislikes, routines, dietary requirements etc. I follow this as I know how important consistency is and I want to give you peace of mind.

🤗 I’ll keep you updated, and send pics/videos throughout their stay.

🛋️ I want all pets that stay with me to feel safe enough to unclench and relax, so I let them take their time to sniff around and settle in. I never expect cuddles/contact, although it's obviously ace if/when it happens! as it tells me I'm doing something right.

📅 Availability & Booking: 

1. I update my calendar daily.

2. I respond to messages as quick as I can. I'm usually off to bed early (around 8.30pm👵🏻) so if I don't catch your message in the evening, rest assured I'm up around 6am and will respond to you first thing.  

3. Meeting you and your pets beforehand is key to ensuring a good, safe and manageable match. Just message me and we can work out a day/time that suits you.
