Hello! I’m Helen 👋🏼 a calm, caring, and dog-savvy human who adores animals and the little personalities that come with them.

I’ve previously owned a Beagle x Whippet, and a Greyhound, giving me hands-on experience with both high-energy sniffers and gentle, sensitive souls. I’ve also fostered dogs in the past, which taught me a huge amount about patience, reassurance, and helping dogs settle into new environments.

I know to not over fuss certain dogs, and get to know each' temperament to give them their space to relax, but also recognise when they're up for playtime. 

Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’m the resident pet sitter for friends and colleagues, it’s something I’m known and trusted for. I live in a flat but have a good sized shared garden, a snug dog bed and standing dog bowls (because I look after dogs so often haha).

‼️ I will always keep your dog on a leash to ensure the safety of your dog, but also myself until we establish trust (if they do have good recall).

‼️ I can only take dogs who walk well on the lead/don’t pull.

‼️ I’ve supported dogs with separation anxiety, but I’m unable to take dogs who can’t be left (as I’m inbetween jobs so need to leave the flat).

Personalised Pet Profiles:

-I've a background in Social Care, so just like those clients, I create a wee profile of your pet, and keep it to hand during their stay. It includes things like their likes/dislikes, routines, dietary requirements and such like, so your pet will be well looked after according to your established routine and preferences.

I take time to properly get to know each animal, and know how important consistency is for them (and you!). I’m calm, reliable, patient, and very attentive.

Your pet won’t just be “looked after” with me, they’ll be cared for. I’ll keep you updated, follow your routines closely, and make sure they feel safe, settled, and happy.

I'm always up for a playtime/tug-o-war!, but if your dog is super chill or shy I shan’t push that on them.

All pets are welcomed warmly, and free to pick their own snug spot. I want them to be able to relax and feel safe, so I let them take time to sniff around and settle in, and never expect cuddles/contact (although this is obviously ace if/when it happens! and tell me I'm doing something right).

About booking: 

1. I'll always aim to keep my calendar/availability up to date, and respond as quick as I can.

2. Meeting you and your pets beforehand is key to ensuring a good, safe and manageable match. Just message me and we can work out a day/time that suits you.

3. I'm usually off to bed early (around 8.30 👵🏻) so if I don't catch your message, rest assured I'm up around 6am, so will respond to you first thing. Thanks for your patience and understanding in advance 😌
