Hola! I’m Lucia, originally from Argentina and happily settled in Edinburgh for the last 3 years. I fell in love with this city and its green spaces, and now I’m excited to share that love with your furry family members.

Back home I had two wonderful rescued dogs, Afrika and Sandro. They now live with my best friends (and still stick together like the siblings they are!), but I miss having animals around – that’s why pet sitting is such a joy for me. I’ve always had animals in my life: frogs, cats, dogs, sheep and more while living in the countryside, so for me, a home feels complete when there’s a pet in it.

I live in lovely Leith and I’m:

So your dog will have plenty of options for safe, fun walks in green areas close to home.

What I do when I’m not pet sitting

I work from home in community engagement for an organisation that promotes active travel. That means:

I’m at home a lot of the time

I can offer plenty of company, cuddles and attention

I can be flexible with breaks for walks and feeding times

What I offer – at my home and yours

🐾 Home sittings (your pet stays with me)

Your pet will live as part of my household, not just as a “guest”. This includes:

As many walks as needed during the day (to nearby parks and green spaces)

Playtime, cuddles and company throughout the day

Keeping to their usual routine as much as possible (feeding times, etc.)

Photos and videos so you can see how they’re doing

Medication administration if needed (as per your instructions)

I never let pets off the lead unless I have explicit permission from you

🐾 House sitting (I move to your home – if/when needed)

If I’m staying in your home, I will:

Do the agreed number of walks per day

Play with them and keep them mentally and physically stimulated

Practice basic behaviour training if you’re working on anything specific

Send regular pictures and videos to keep you updated

Respect your home and leave it clean and tidy when I go

Administer medication if required

Keep your pet on-lead unless you have clearly said otherwise

Availability

Because I work from home, I’m most available in afternoons and evenings, and I especially love looking after pets during your holidays, when I can really bond with them over several days.
