We are Lucia and Yako from Argentina. We are two community educators who have lived in Edinburgh for the last 3 years because we fell in love with the city and its nature!. 

We used to have two wonderful rescued dogs in Argentina and we miss them so much! Our lovely Afrika and Sandro were adopted by our best friends (and they keep together as the siblings they are) but we want to keep sharing our time with pets even if not ours.

As for our professional background, Yako works as a Senior Key Worker for the charity Cyrenians and I work remotely (in general from home) as the Community Engagement Manager for Love to Ride, an organisation that promotes active travel, so both of us have a lot of availability to spend time with pets, and that's why we thought this could really work!.

We are certainly animals people! I've always had animals around, from frogs, cats, and dogs, to sheeps and even snakes while living in the countryside, and Yako always had dogs, he worked taking care of wallabies abroad and worked on whale documentaries projects in the south of Argentina (Puerto Piramides). Someone told us that we could do this wonderful job here since we tend to pet sit with people we know or people whom we were referred to, but we weren't involved in any platform yet, so here we are! 😊 (references are at your disposal).

We live now in wonderful Leith (used to live in Newington when we started pet sitting) , both being wonderful areas to go around, and we are both cycling lovers, so no problem in moving around the city.

When are we usually available? afternoons and evenings and we are especially interested in taking care of our furry family during your holidays because that gives us the chance to connect more with them.

What is specifically included in the service we offer? Collection and drop off if I am walking your dog for 1 hour to your preferred rite/park, including playing and cleaning.

If we are sitting (moving to your home) it includes: The number of walks needed a day, playing with any toys, practicing behavior training in case they need it, taking pictures and recording videos, and sending them to keep you posted. Clean the house before leaving. I have no problem administering medication. I never leave pets off the lead unless explicit permission from the owner. Please ask for a discount if you need more than just a few nights sitting! 😊
