Hi ! My name is Matilde, I'm a 25 year old dog enthusiast and recent Honours graduate in horticulture.
I have always loved and adored all animals, especially dogs. A ferret called Fergus was my first pet for a number of years, followed by fish and a hamster. Ted and Erin are my two dogs, both Pomeranians and bundles of fun and affection. Dogs play a very special part in my life, having done dog showing in the past with Ted and spending a lot of my free time learning about breed histories and watching online dog shows.
I was on Pawshake offering services 4 years ago and have experience with physically handicapped dogs, anxious dogs, partially sighted dogs and administering oral medication. Every dog is unique and I take a lot of pride, time and love in getting to know each dog as an individual and tending to their every need and care. I am currently looking at doing a dog nutrition course.
Before any service is agreed to, it is important for me to meet your pet to get a feel for them and what they require.
Every time I am with your pet, you will receive a message when I arrive and when I leave for your peace of mind. Water bowls are always replenished and I'm happy to feed them if required and change puppy pads for puppies. All dogs are different and visits and care will be tailored to suit you and your dog.

To say Molly and Reggie my terriers had the VIP treatment is an understatement! Matilde took them right into her heart and her home and treated them with kindness and understanding of their needs. They are rescue dogs who are anxious in new situations and matilde took great care to adapt her routine to their needs and was incredibly understanding. I would enthusiastically reccomend matilde without hesitation and Molly and Reggie cannot wait to see her again!
Matilde took such good care of Oliver. He has obviously enjoyed his walks and cuddles! She was conscientious and aware of the needs of an older dog. We are very happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matilde to anyone requiring pet care.
