Hello! :)

We are Hazel & Daniel, and although new to Pawshake, we've been house-sitting and caring for a menagerie of pets for a few years now via other platforms with all 5* reviews we are happy to share. From many wonderful dogs and cats but also chickens, sheep, orphan lambs and goats, horses, rabbits, rats, cows and even an owl!

We primarily offer pet sitting in your own home with 24/7 hour care; including all daily walks, feeding, care, and attention.

We work from home mostly, so there will always be at least 1 of us at home with the pets. We are non smokers.

We would be more than happy to keep you up to date with lots of adorable pictures of them whilst you're away too. 📷🐶

We have plenty of experience giving medication to various pets in the right doses and times, including injections.

We have sussed out most of the best spots in Edinburgh, and further afield to take your dog on all sorts of adventures, from the forest to the sea, or more locally if you prefer! Our favourites have to be Portobello Beach, Blackford Hill and Cammo Estate.

We love all breeds, being petsitters has allowed us to meet such a wide variety of dogs & cats, and we have adored them all! We are particularly experienced with large dogs.

To make sure the sit goes as smoothly as possible we would like to know the details of your dog/cats daily routine; their diet, walks, medication, grooming needs etc so they will be as comfortable as possible when you are away.

We also need to know how they are on walks; on or off lead, and how they are around other dogs.

Additionally, we would need to be made aware of any issues such as separation anxiety, or behavioural issues.

We have lots of experience caring for nervous/rescue dogs.
