We are a young couple living in Leith, with a cosy flat where we both mostly work from home.

We have both grown up with dogs - my family just lost our beautiful springer spaniel, Barley, who reached a ripe old age of 16. Jack's family have a bouncy black lab named Rafa who loves carrots and long walks in the Peak District.

We are both from Sheffield and moved to Edinburgh about 3 years ago for me to study for a masters degree in marine biology. Now, I work for a marine conservation charity and Jack for the Open University.

We are both missing our family dogs hugely, but are not quite in a position to have a pooch of our own yet. We are planning to go travelling so want to wait until after we get back to find a furry friend of our own.

We live within a five minute walk of three large parks, and are just 20 minutes from the beach. I go to the beach most days, either before or after work, and would love to have a companion on these walks! We don't have a garden but there is large green space just 1min walk from our front door (see images attached).

We are happy to have dogs of any breed or size, but it should be noted that we live in a third floor flat so any older dogs should be okay on stairs or happy to be carried. My own senior dog, Barley, was completely deaf, partially blind, and on various medications, so I have experience caring for dogs with more complex needs.

DAYCARE🐶🌞

We are happy to have dogs during the day while owners are working - I often work long but flexible hours and can take breaks for walks whenever needed. Minimum 2 long walks (45mins) per day, plus shorter comfort breaks. One of us will be with your dog at all times.

BOARDING🐶🌝

We also provide dog boarding for up to one week, including in school holidays. The flat is spacious and secure, with plenty of blankets and comfortable places for a pooch. We can keep owners updates daily with photos or calls if that helps. For shorter stays, if required, one of us can be with your dog at all times. For longer stays, we only accept dogs that can be left alone for approx. 2 hours.
