OVERNIGHT HOUSE SITTING IN YOUR HOME:
I’m Alan, age 55, I’m a retired Accountant from Edinburgh and live by the meadows in Newington. 
Dog Sitting is my full time job and I really enjoy looking after dogs in their own home. I give every dog personal attention with quality care, giving you complete peace of mind to relax and enjoy your time away from home.  
I will look after your dogs and house like it's my own and always ensure owners can relax on holiday knowing they come back to a tidy house and happy dogs!
As well as feeding, walking and attending to your dogs needs I will also look after your home and water plants, put bins out, hoover up and have your house clean and tidy for your return. I have my own car so can travel and take your dogs out for a run and a walk anywhere you like.
I’ve owned dogs all my life and being a dog lover have looked after other peoples dogs for many years and shown all dogs the same love and care as my own. 
I spent a long time volunteering for Pet Fostering Services Scotland (PFSS) where I found foster homes for dogs and cats In Edinburgh whose owners were either in hospital or too unwell to look after them. 
I’ve owned my own house and dogs for decades, all dogs with different characters. Shy dogs, nervous dogs, young dogs, old dogs, sick dogs, I’ve looked after many different characters and loved them all. 
All dogs respond to me and I’ve never met one who didn’t take to me.  
• I can visit you and your dogs in your home to get to know each other before you book 
• I can travel anywhere within 100 miles of Edinburgh to House Sit your Dogs 
• I have an up to date FULL POLICE DISCLOSURE with a current “fit and proper person test” giving you complete peace of mind
• I tend to your dogs needs and focus on them at all times, I’m a mature adult who has run a family home of my own with dogs for over 30 years

Typical day looking after dogs starts around 7am
• Give dogs any medication required
• Give dogs clean drinking water 
• The dogs get out for toilet and a morning walk 
• They are safely on leads at all times (unless instructed to let them run free) and get a really good walk each time
• Your dogs will have lots of fun on their walks and play and I always have a wee treat for them
• Feed dogs if required in morning or top up biscuits etc as advised by owner 
• I settle down with dogs and we watch tv or I read a book 
• Lunch time out again out for a walk 
• Keep an eye on dogs water bowl and keep water fresh throughout day 
• Back home, play with ball or whatever your dog wants. All dogs are different. Some play and some love to sleep. 
• Dinner time out for a long walk and then home for dinner 
• Settle down for evening 
• 8pm out for a wee walk and get ready for bed time at around 10pm

My aim is to keep your dogs routine the same as normal and allow you to relax and enjoy your time away from home.
