My name is Charlotte, I am 20 years old and i'm a third year Philosophy and Theology student at the University of Edinburgh. As a student, my schedule is very flexible. I have a vespa, which means that i am often able to travel at least a few miles should need be, even at short notice to get to you and your pet. Although, i make it my priority to meet owners and their dogs before their scheduled sit, I am also happy to have a chat with owners over zoom, before meeting in person if that is something you would like. If you should need a certain type of sitting, I can do my best to accommodate your needs after having a quick chat.

Until very recently, i had a 12 year old Cavapoo at home in London, which meant that i did not often get to spend time with him when i was away at University. He recently died of incurable heart disease, and i miss him dearly. Therefore having some pet company would be lovely. I have borrowed several dogs for both day and overnight stays on Borrowmydoggy.com and have had only positive feedback from owners. In addition to this, i have taken care of many dogs and cats on Pawshake as this has been my primary job since August 2022. If you would like to know more about this, feel free to message me. Before moving to University, I was my dogs primary caretaker for many years and have become familiar with feeding habits, times, walking needs, as well as becoming very empathetic to the reactivity of a dog. Until recently, I also had a very lovely and healthy bunny up in Edinburgh who free-roamed in my student flat, so am able to care for small animals as well!

My large 4 bedroom flat is currently situated in the wonderful area of Marchmont and is within a five minute walk to the meadows, a popular dog walking spot. However, I am also able to take your pup to nearby walking spots, such as Portobello beach, Arthur's Seat, Hollyrood Park and the Braid Hills, depending on preference. My average walk is about an hour, with the dog able to be on or off the lead, but we can have a chat about what fits you best! Just drop me a message. I also have a sizeable communal garden accessible from my third floor flat, so can take pups out for bathroom breaks at night or early in the morning. In addition to this and as a personal preference, I can only accept vaccinated dogs for sitting. Thanks for understanding.
