Hi, I'm Julie! I am a 22 year old veterinary student at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies who has always had a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes. I have experience caring for a range of animals; from guinea pigs and rats, to cats and dogs, to horses and other livestock! As a student, I would love to be able to earn a little extra money to fund my studies.
As a pet sitter, I would be able to earn a bit of money, whilst also spending time around the one thing I love most in this world - animals! It would be a huge bonus just to be able to have some cuddles with your pet(s), as I haven't been able to bring my own pets to Edinburgh with me. I can offer evening or weekend dog walking, overnight pet sitting (within your own home, as my flat sadly does not allow pets), and home visits. I reside in a lovely area of Blackford, near to the Royal Observatory and Blackford Hill and Pond. There is ample green space to allow a dog to exercise, and the nearby roads are relatively quiet.
I am a reliable and trustworthy person, who is great at following instructions. I am good at being both independent and a team player. Due to my commitment to my University course, I would only be available in the evenings and at weekends. But I would love the opportunity to come and meet your pet(s), whilst giving you some well-deserved time off! I aim to walk a dog for a minimum of half an hour, but am aware that many pets thrive on routine! I am happy to care for your pet as YOU decide.
Once again fantastic job by Julie. I highly recommend her for taking care of your furry babies while you are away.
Great sitter for my two leopard geckos (and their live food). Many thanks!
I have an undergraduate degree in Animal Science, and a Master's degree in Wild Animal Biology. I am now studying veterinary medicine at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies (University of Edinburgh).
