People say I should’ve been born an animal because of how well I get on with them. To a degree I agree with that statement as animals are loyal, loving and kind, and these are qualities that represent me in a nutshell. 

One debate I can’t find an answer to is whether I’m a dog or cat person. I just love spending time and caring for both equally as if they were my own children.

I have a 2 year old son, which I love to pieces, who is a natural animal whisperer. His love for animals is beyond contagious, hence why I'm considering adopting.

 In the meantime I'd like to get more exposure from different breeds and types of pets in order to make an informed decision for us.

I have my own car and can drive wherever you may be. I love long walks especially along the beach as Edinburgh has the most beautiful coast line.

I’m Erin, a student living in Edinburgh. I am just mad for ALL animals, but of course, I have a soft spot for cats! Over the course of my childhood, I’ve looked after various cats with varying abilities. My mum and I fostered cats from our local cat shelter for over 10 years and I also volunteered regularly at my local cat shelter. Additionally, I have been cat sitting in Edinburgh for over four years with regular repeat bookings. I have the knowledge to look after cats - but most importantly, I love them. Your cats will be treated just like they are my own. 
I guess it’s fair to say that I’m a cuddle extraordinaire... of course only if the wee pets will allow the cuddles! I’d prefer for your fur baby to do whatever they would like. I’ve had experiences with giving cats medication and helping out disabled cats, so I’d be comfortable looking after your cat if this is the case, if you just make sure to send me through their medical regimen!

Having spent the last year petsitting in France and the UK I'm now living in Edinburgh and looking to walk your four legged friends.
I'm a massive animal lover available for dog walking around Granton, Trinity and Leith areas. I've always had dogs and cats growing up and I really enjoy their company. I’ve spent time volunteering in DSPCA (RSPCA in Ireland) and Dogstrust so I’m familar with different dog breeds, sizes and personalities. I took a dog training course a few years ago where we learned various dog training techniques. 
I'm happy to vary the pace according to your dogs needs. Throwing sticks along the way if that's what they're into! I can do walks from 30 mins to 3 hours long. Your dog will enjoy a safe walk with lots of pats and attention.

I moved to Edinburgh from New Zealand in 2022 and have been really missing animals as I'm not allowed a pet in my flat. I used pawshake to help save up for my move back in New Zealand for six months before I moved here. I have some experience of walking and taking care of my friends' dogs when she is busy with her work (her dog is a Corgi, he has been bullied by large dogs in his childhood, it's not easy to walk him in the street.) Because I can't have a cat in the flat I rent, I only can be responsible for home visit. I have some free time in weekdays, especially in Wednesday, and of course the weekends. I totally understand the problem of my sister when she has to fly to another country for business trips or she cannot easily promise a long holiday trip, because she worries her pets. Also we don't really agree on sending cats to a new place for boarding, most of them have stress reactions. So I think home visit is a better way to solve problems. I am very responsible for taking care of cats. Don't worry about your cats starving or feeling lonely, I'm really looking forward to spending time with them :)
