Greetings to everyone who comes to my profile. My name is Alejandra and I am a Spanish biologist.
Ever since I moved here I have loved the commitment that people have with their animals. While I study my PhD, I want to invest time doing the second thing that I love the most, and this is helping people take care of their furbabies, as much as I love taking care of mine.
I have had a few different pets through my whole life. I have had canaries, terrapins and a cat, my boy Minorín, who can be seen in one of the pictures that I have uploaded.
I am currently the proud fur mom of a young 2y.o. female border collie. I have had her since she was 2 months old and it is thanks to her that I have acquired most of my dog training skills and become accustomed to walk her in a safe and adequate way to her needs.

I have experience pet sitting cats mainly in Edinburgh from different breeds and therefore with different needs and hugely diverse personalities. I have been in charge of brushing them, feeding them, changing the litter and helping them with other issues, such as trimming long hairs close to their rear areas (those with long haired cats probably know what I am talking about).
When you trust me with your pet, either feline, canine or other, I will follow your instructions carefully and pay attention to any special needs your pet may require, such as administering oral medicine and applying ear / eye drops when needed.
All in all, you can be sure that I will pay as much attention and be as careful with your pets as I would be with mine.

Dog walking

֎I will pick your dog - within 30mins walking distance of my area (Stoneybatter/Smithfield).
֎ I can bring treats unless you tell me not to use them / want to provide them yourself.
֎ If your dog gets wet because it is raining, I will dry him/her - Just provide a towel!
֎ Although I am comfortable with small and medium / medium-large sized dogs, I am not familiar with bigger breeds such as Great Danes and similar. I can very easily deal with a dog up to ~41 pounds (around 18kg), and I will be okay dealing with a bigger dog up to 55 pounds (around 25 kg). I am however happy to walk bigger ones provided they are well behaved or generally calm.

֎ Cats: I will change and/or clean the litter and take the bag with myself when I leave.
֎ If your pet requires medicine, I will be able to administer it as long as it is oral or drops. I am not accredited to provide injections or complicate procedures.
֎ Last minute home stay bookings: I might be able to accept these even from one day to another, but DM first to discuss options!

✏ General terms for staying over simply require you to have a decent place for me to sleep for the night and access to the kitchen / bathroom / internet. If your pet is used to sleeping with people, I will gladly let him/her sleep with me. I will feed and walk / play / pay attention to your pet as much as needed.
