Hi! Im Malin. Both me and my fiancé are self employed so we have a flexible schedule which can match your dog-sitting needs. Our home is located on Leith walk with Pilrig and St. Marks park very close by. We also have a fenced in garden attached to the building as well as Dalmeny fenced in dog park around the corner. This means there is always a great place for your dog to play.
We are planning to adopt a dog of our own in a few months and are looking to get to know some different breeds before we decide who will join our family.
During the day, we work from a dog friendly office and have lots of time to spend taking long walks and caring for your dog. The office is just by Leith Links so there is plenty of space for running after a ball! We also have a number of fenced in dog parks within a few minutes walk. The office has a private room where we can close the door so your dog can have a calm environment but it is important that your dog is dog and people friendly since it is a work environment and we often get visitors.
Our apartment has plenty of space for your dog to spread out but we also have the ability to close off rooms in case your puppy is used to a smaller environment.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
More than a pet sitter: a pet friend.
I have been dog sitting for the past year and have taken care of over 20 dogs for up to 3 weeks at a time. I have experience with blind and older dogs as well as young puppies. I am comfortable walking several dogs at one time if needed and can help you with dog training such as food-dicipline, heel and recall. We have a range of balls, long leads etc to help with this.
I am happy to take care of larger dogs and can handle stronger dogs since I practice powerlifting in my free time. Because I sometimes have other dogs in the office, I can only take care of dogs that are dog friendly and are ok with socialising during the day. My home is located on the 2nd floor so if your dog has knee problems or is afraid of stairs, I might not be a good fit. I am however happy to carry your dog up the stairs if they are used to this.
