About me and my experience 🙋‍♂️

Hello! My name is Luke, I'm 29 and currently working as a Technology Engineer 🤓

My passion for animals started at a very young age, when I was old enough to understand what a dog was! I grew up with dogs for nearly all of my childhood. We owned and fostered a few dogs over the years and then found our lovely Weimaraner, Sadie. About 6 years ago we unfortunately lost her to cancer. After growing up with her for 12 years, it was a big loss and feeling that she could not be replaced, we decided that we would get a cat instead. My parents still have her but (fortunately for them) I decided to move out and into my own place. Very quickly I started to miss having a furry friend around the house and began my search for a cat in need of a home. Thankfully I found Kika, who was in need of a new home as her owner was no longer able to look after her. She is an indoor cat at the fine old age of 15, but she is still a kitten at heart and plays like one. She is super vocal, and loves to join in the chat when I'm on Zoom calls at home. I probably have more love to give than she'd prefer! 

I'm confident in walking dogs of any shape and size, and also confident in giving cats, dogs and whatever other pets are out there some well deserved attention and making sure they're happy as can be.

Why I signed up for Pawshake 🐾

I have a lot of love for all animals, not just cats and dogs. I always enjoy a trip to a farm and often volunteer in the local farm near my workplace in London. I'm normally that person at a party surrounded by the dogs, rather than people, and I can't help but say hello to the cows, horses, deers, squirrels (basically any animal) when I'm out and about. Sadly I can't fit all the animals I'd like to have in my garden, so as second best I'm looking to care for your furry friends and make sure they have the best time!

Services I offer

• Home visit 🏘 for dogs, cats and any other pets
• Normally either 15 or 30 minutes. If you need longer please just ask. 
• Dog walk 🦮
• Normally 15-60 minutes. I'll leave it up to you to tell me what your dogs needs are. 
• Walks can be on the beach or one of the many picturesque walks on the South Downs and they may even find themselves with a doggy ice cream on the weekends for a real
  treat :)
• House sitting 🏘 
• As I work remotely I am able to spend all day house sitting and keep your pet company
• Also a plant lover so I'm happy to make sure any plants are fed and watered too 🌱💧
• If you need me to check on anything else whilst on a home visit let me know 🔒👀

My availability:

• I work remotely so I'm around every day 💻
• More than happy to do early morning walks or evening drop ins, etc 🌅
• Currently based in Oswestry 🏠
