Hi! My name is Ellen. I grew up in the Caribbean, on the small island nations of St Kitts and Nevis, which has a very high stray dog population. This is where my love of dogs and passion for animal care began.

I volunteered at the local animal rescue center over there that cared for stray dogs and cats, and many of my childhood pets came from that charity. Because of this I have always been good with quite shy or nervous dogs, and my work at Dogs Trust has continued to expand my experience.

At Dogs Trust I was a canine carer and worked very closely with the behaviour team to help rehabilitate dogs so that they were ready for their next home. I've continued to grow my experience with a wide range of temperaments, breeds and ages. This job included walking, training and feeding the dogs in my care. I also have had to undertake training in dog body language, and veterinary care. As such I am comfortable giving dogs or cats any medications they may require.

I currently work remotely which gives me the flexibility to house sit your animals, and means I will be home keeping them company all day.

I am also Pet First Aid certified, I have business insurance that covers house sitting/dog walking/home visits and I am a registered member of the Association of Professional Dog Walkers & Sitters (APDWS).

Services I offer:

🐾DOG WALKING - I cater each walk to the dog, depending on their physical needs and mental stimulation. Whether that means an hour long walk or a short off lead session in a field, I am happy to accommodate to your and your dogs needs. Walks would be kept to just single dogs at the moment, or groups if they are all from the same house.

🐾HOUSE SITTING - I would stick to your routine so that there is as little disruption as possible. A typical house sit would include at least 2 walks a day, plus lots of cuddles and playtime! I'm also happy to collect post, do basic gardening (watering plants), and putting the bins out.

Availability for clients in the Chitterne/Shrewton/Tilshead/Codford areas but can travel a bit further.
