When you have free time, what better way to spend it than in the company of animals!

My name is Carrie and I’m currently living with five indoor cats (crazy cat lady right here!)

We have rescued all of our cats, one being an elderly cat with medical issues which include administering medication in the forms of tablet and liquid.

I have long term work walking large dog breeds including Cane Corso’s, Belgian Malinois’, American Bullies and Doberman cross breeds, and repeat customers for cat sitting jobs :) All dogs must have basic training (sit, stay etc) and be controllable on lead for walks to take place. This is for the safety of your dog(s), other dogs and myself. <p>

Visits for indoor cats last 45 minutes. All of my own cats are indoor only, and I understand the importance of play and attention when you are not at home! I will give them nothing less than I would expect for my own bubs! Visits for cats who can go outside will last as long as they let me!

Sometimes your cat will want fuss, food and then for me to leave, so I aim to stay for whatever length of time they are comfortable .

Visits for dogs are 45 minutes in total, include up to a 30 minute on lead walk if you wish. For more than two visits a day, please drop me a message and we can work around your dogs needs :)

*** please note - if the weather is too hot for your dog to be walked, I will contact you in advance to discuss what to do. I will not walk dogs in temperatures which are dangerous for them.

I am not a qualified dog trainer. I have basic knowledge of dog training techniques. I have trained my own dogs in the past and have worked with long term clients with training.

I have grown up with the largest and smallest of animals, from Rottweiler X Akita’s to rats and hamsters. My previous place of work was a primary school working as a Nursery Nurse, leaving after almost 7 years. Now I am looking for work in one of the most loving areas. I have experience in cat and dog sitting, and looking after smaller animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. My brother had two Bearded Dragons which I had to feed on occasion. I am open to discussion if you have reptiles that need feeding whilst you are away. I’ve always had a love for the crazy and have participated in a number of weird and wonderful demonstrations. My favourite being the time I played the part of a target for a police dog (twice, as the second person changed their mind after seeing the German Shepherd take me down in the morning session!)

When you go away to relax, one of the most important things as a pet owner is knowing that your family members are being taken care of, and I understand how stressful that can be. I am happy to send as many pictures during my visits as you wish and do my best to keep you at ease!
